As mentioned in the last post, I chose to develop the spiralscope centred around rotating a row of circles at each third of a larger circle. After this, these circles were then rotated two more times: each time in a different colour. I chose a bright purple for the initial circles, and then orange and yellow for the secondary rotations so that the lines would not fight with each other and the purple circles would clearly stand out as the focus, while still providing a variety of colour within the logo.To enhance this, I tried to develop the logo further by experimenting with having each coloured set of circles a different soze (middle row) and omitting some circles from the revolution (bottom right). However, these modified designs seemed to lose the interest and simplicity that the original evoked, and so were discarded. The last attempt at modifying this logo was putting the purple circles in a larger stroke to further make it stand out, but as seen in the bottom row, it only has a very minimal difference to the original and making the stroke size any larger would have thrown out the balance originally created also.
In translating the logo to black and white, the same technique was attempted (putting one set of circles in bold), though once in black and white the lines fought visibly more than they did in colour. As a result for the final black and white logo, one set of circles will be put in pure black, while the other two will be put in a much lighter grey.
